Lantern Lamp

 

The Lantern lamp draws inspiration from the old lanterns and candleholders that people took with them wherever light was needed before electricity. The form of the shade is simple and elegant and the handle gives the lamp a unique look with an applicable function. The white shade reflects and defuses light in three different directions. When the lamp is carried around it lights up more of the surroundings and the flexible handle moves according to the position of the hand, minimizing strain on the wrist. The pattern on the wood also gives a comfortable grip and a more interesting look.
